The ever-popular Blues on the Rideau series returns to The Cove Inn on Friday March 24th, 2023 with a performance by David Gogo.
It’s about time David finally made it here. We had to postpone his show three times over the past 3 years due to COVID. If you love dynamite electric Blues Rock (although he plays acoustic guitar just as well) then this is one show you don’t want to miss. His combination of rugged vocals and virtuosic guitar will grab you with the first song and hold you for the entire show. David has recorded 16 albums over his long career and been nominated 6X for a Juno, won the Maple Blues Award for Guitarist of the Year 3X (and just won another MBA last year along with Steve Marriner for Best Acoustic Artist). He’s also won several Western Canadian Music Awards and a Great Canadian Blues Award from CBC radio’s Saturday Night Blues.
